Authentic Style Campaign- Natasha Nurse

344pm’s weekly Authentic Style Campaign features an inspirational woman entrepreneur or executive whose style I admire and reflects their unparalleled personal brand.

Today’s Authentic Style Spotlight is on Natasha Nurse who is a coach, speaker, content creator and owner and co-founder at Dressing Room 8.

Natasha learned to seek out fashion as a source of strength early on and actively uses it as a personal means of empowerment. She started Dressing Room 8 because of her own experiences and her strong desire to help others within the plus-size community. Natasha is not one to stay idle- in addition to running Dressing Room 8 she is the lifestyle editor for Plus Model Magazine, co-creator of the podcast WokeNFree and part of many organizations that give back to women and girls. I first met Natasha at an event she was speaking at and my first impression was how her delivery, kindness, personality, helpfulness and everything in between completely enraptured the audience. She is truly authentic, and her signature style shines as brightly as she does.

The personal part of my style is that I value deeply my personal connections, most special memories and I often wear things connected to that love.

Here’s what Anne has to say about her brand and style:

About: My career has always been involved with fine textiles. I started my career as a buyer for a high-end menswear company, then transitioned to interior design. Now my passion has become actualized in my love of scarves and seeking out a curated collection to offer from great sources worldwide. Why the name Archivie? To 'Archive' is to collect what we love. 'Vie' is French for life. Put these together and my collection of scarves brings alive the splendid/power/laughter/wisdom/elegance/creativity in my clients.

What 3 words describe your personal style? Timeless + Fun + Streamline

What is your signature piece? One of the very first designs I created and that is the Comic Book Beauties Scarf. It is a compilation of super heroines form the 1940's and 50's and these were some of the first women to be given superpowers in print. I enjoy wearing this scarf because it makes me feel strong.

Authentic Style Campaign- Jenny Powers

344pm’s weekly Authentic Style Campaign features an inspirational woman entrepreneur or executive whose style I admire and reflects their unparalleled personal brand.

Today’s Authentic Style Spotlight is on Jenny Powers who is the Founder of Running With Heels, LLC.

Jenny is a connector and business owner who approaches all of life with her infectious attitude for fun and her talent for bringing people together. Jenny’s desire to help people make authentic connections always shines through her warmth and her fabulous sense of humor.

Jenny Powers 4-1-20.jpg

Here’s what Jenny has to say about her brand and style:

About: Running With Heels is a by-invitation networking community exclusively catering to senior level women executives and entrepreneurs in New York City.

What 3 words describe your personal style? Capsule, Clean, Classic

How does your style reflect your personal brand? My wardrobe and Running With Heels have this in common-I always focus on quality versus quantity. I'll take a closet full of classic, quality pieces that will last over one filled with trendy, disposable styles whose lifespan is a season. Similarly, in my business, I’d rather host a curated group of quality women as opposed to filling a room with people for the sake of merely filling it. I want my clothes and my networking connections and relationships to last.

What is your signature piece? My signature piece would have to be my black Hermès Birkin Bag and the gold Mama necklace given to me by my 10-year-old daughter which serves as a constant reminder that above all else, being her Mama is my most important job.
