344pm’s weekly Authentic Style Campaign features an inspirational woman entrepreneur or executive whose style I admire and reflects their unparalleled personal brand.
Today’s Authentic Style Spotlight is on Kiran Karnani who is the Head of Marketing at Leica Camera.
Kiran is not only a powerhouse at Leica, but an amazing mother of 3, a supportive friend and so much more. Kiran always leads with confidence and grace, no matter the situation. Whether the situation is difficult, manageable, related to the kids or work she approaches it all with a “will do” attitude. Always conquering the impossible. This attitude shows up all the time in her brand and style- empowered, curious and grateful.
Here’s what Kiran has to say about her brand and style:
About: I manage all aspects of marketing for the US subsidiary of a legacy camera brand / manufacturer. While our camera and lenses serve a niche market, many of the images made from them are world renowned- for example, “Napalm Girl” by Nick Ut. We may be the only brand that is tied to a culture rooted in a focus on just essentials of photography, with a diverse community brought together by a passion for authentic visual storytelling. It’s easy to love a job that supports the art of capturing unforgettable moments.
What 3 words describe your personal style? Classic, curious, unexpected
How does your style reflect your personal brand? We’ve all heard that you dress for the job you want, not the one you have. When the job you want is the one you have then you dress for confidence. What you wear has a direct impact on how you feel. Feeling confident fuels empowerment.
What is your signature piece? A leather wrap bracelet that turns any outfit into a power suit.
